Corporate Code of Ethics

Having formulated a Corporate Code of Ethics, ElringKlinger is living up to its social responsibility. We expect each of our employees to feel personally responsible for complying with this code and to support his or her colleagues in realizing its objectives. The Management Board is responsible for implementing these principles. They are part of our regulations and guidelines.

Human rights

We feel obliged to adhere to international human rights to the extent of our scope of influence.

Child labor

We do not permit child labor in our companies or at our business partners.

Forced labor

We do not permit any form of forced labor in our companies or at our business partners.

Discrimination and respect for others

We strive to provide workplaces which are free of discrimination and disturbance due to gender, race, skin color, religion, age, national origin, handicap or sexual orientation. Employees in our company deserve mutual respect.

Personnel development

We regard the development of our employees as an essential investment in the future of our company. At the same time, we attach importance not only to the acquisition of specialist expertise but also the development of social and methodical competences.

Remuneration and working hours

We recognize the claim of our employees for appropriate remuneration. We follow the regulations concerning working hours currently applicable in all our companies.

Health and safety

We strive to create a safe and healthy working environment which fulfills or surpasses the corresponding standards for health and safety at the workplace. We seek to prevent occupational injuries and work-related illnesses by implementing suitable measures.

Environmental responsibility

We enforce an effective environmental management system at all production locations worldwide, which we are continuously improving. Minimum requirements include compliance with the environmental protection laws applicable in the relevant countries.

Conflict of interests, gifts and attempts at bribery

We are committed not to accept or give any gifts which could lead to a conflict of interests. In particular, neither bribes nor other unlawful payments to government officials or other persons may be made or offered.
