ElringKlinger AG

Private investors impressed by ElringKlinger’s communications work

January 2012 +++ How well do listed companies keep their private shareholders informed? This was the question put by Börse Online to its readers. The survey rated the 160 biggest exchange-listed companies in Germany’s DAX, MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX indices. ElringKlinger emerged as one of the most successful, with a particularly strong record of proactive, credible and intelligible communications – an important criterion for private investors – earning it a Top 3 place in the overall ranking and within the MDAX.

ElringKlinger places great emphasis on the satisfaction of its private investors, not least because this group owns nearly 15% of the company’s stock. Consequently, it is delighted to be awarded third place in the survey and extremely pleased by the positive feedback on its investor relations work. As well as providing comprehensive and up-to-date information about the company and its stock on the website, ElringKlinger has set up a telephone contact system allowing shareholders to speak directly to a member of the Investor Relations team. Specifically directed at private investors, the company also hosts regular live online chats with the CEO, Dr. Stefan Wolf. Furthermore, ElringKlinger is an active member of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Small Caps Initiative BWSC EXT, which aims primarily to improve the quality of information made available to private shareholders.

The latest survey was the ninth conducted by Börse Online. With over nine hundred individual ratings, the awards are regarded as one of the most important competitions in this field.

ElringKlinger picks up award at 2011 Automotive Brand Contest

Judges impressed by ElringKlinger’s 2010 Annual Report at industry-wide design and brand communication awards

July 2011 +++ The jury of the German Design Council has chosen ElringKlinger’s 2010 Annual Report for an award in the first-ever Automotive Brand Contest (ABC).

Together with Audi and Volkswagen, ElringKlinger’s report was selected in the Print/Annual Reports category for its outstanding design concept.

The judges were particularly impressed by the degree of innovation in the report and the way in which content, picture galleries and graphics were skillfully woven together. With its motto, "EMBRACING BOTH WORLDS", the report covers 208 pages and goes well beyond the company’s statutory duty to provide information about its financial results. The clarity of the visual messages and page layout, combined with an esthetic touch to the presentation of products, helps transmit a sense of the company’s potential in the refinement of the conventional internal combustion engine and in the field of e-mobility.

The international automobile industry competition hosted by the German Design Council aims to recognize excellent brand management, brand communications and design performance in the automotive sector. The awards will be presented in September at the IAA International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
